- Develop specialized Software components for the Symphony Platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Develop the next generation User Management, Authentication and Authorization components of the VNOC Symphony platform
- Acquire an in-depth knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP and have participated in the design and implementation of Cloud Based Single Sign-on
- Ensure sustainability for the current Symphony Platform
- Collaborate with other team members to develop the next generation of the platform
- Assist and contribute to the Quality Assurance and Testing of the Platform
- Participate in the design and architecture meetings for the next generation Platform
- Troubleshoot platform production issues and defects
- Work with Source Control, Defect Tracking and Automated Build Systems

- Ability to diagnose complex system problems
- Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of platform development
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities

Education and/or Experience |
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with Open Source and Microsoft Directory Service Technologies
- 2 years’ experience with Single-Sign On and/or equivalent technologies
- Demonstrated experience with Java, C# and Open Source Development Frameworks and Facilities
- Demonstrated experience with Active Directory/LDAP
